PROOF OF RESIDENCY IS REQUIRED!

The City of Lago Vista provides a 3 day Clean-Up Days Event every Fall.  The event is available to residential utility customers ONLY at no additional cost. 

You MUST bring a copy of your City of Lago Vista utility bill and picture ID as verification.  If the address on your picture ID does not match the address on your Utility Bill, then you will NOT be allowed to drop items off at the Trash-Off Event.

Acceptable Items to Bring

• Furniture
• Plastics
• Scrap Metal
• Appliances (refrigerant removed and tagged by air conditioning [A/C] or refrigeration technician)

We Are Unable to Accept the Following Items

• Construction Debris
• Batteries
• Tires
• Paint
• Asbestos
• Brush
• Limbs
• Trees
• Dock Floats, Sailboats or Hot Tubs, Items with fluids still inside (i.e., Freon, gas, etc.)
• Business Waste, Commercial Waste or Industrial Waste
• Electronic Waste (i.e., televisions, computers, microwaves, laptops, printers, tablets, etc.)
• Hazardous Waste (i.e., fuels, chemicals, oils, refrigerant, compressed gasses)

A Safety Message

Public Works personnel will be helping at the event. For everyone's safety, please obey flaggers, safety cones, and signage while participating.

• Contractor & Commercial Vehicles are not permitted!
