National Night Out (NNO) is an annual community-building campaign held on the first Tuesday in October in Texas. Its goal is to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie, raise awareness about crime and drug prevention, garner support for local anti-crime programs, boost neighborhood spirit, strengthen police-community partnerships, and demonstrate to criminals that neighborhoods are united and fighting back. Join the Lago Vista Police Department, Travis County ESD #1, and the City of Lago Vista in celebrating the "National Night Out Against Crime" event.

• Generate support for and participation in local anti-crime programs
• Strengthens neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships
• Sends a message to criminals to let them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back

National Night Out 2025

Get ready! National Night Out is back! On October 7, 2025, Lago Vista residents are invited to celebrate National Night Out by participating in our city-wide block party. This event will be hosted by the Lago Vista Police Department, the City of Lago Vista, and various local law enforcement agencies, businesses, and non-profits. The Lago Vista Police Department is a nationally registered participant in this year's event. We hope to see everyone there!

National Night Out is a great opportunity to get involved, ask questions, and make lasting connections in our community.
