LAGO VISTA BLUE SANTA 

 

The Lago Vista Blue Santa program was launched in 1989 and has helped to bring Christmas cheer to children, families, and the elderly during the holiday season.  The annual goal is to provide gifts and food to families in need within the Lago Vista ISD service area as well as food gift cards to the elderly in need within our community.  This non-profit program is composed of a 9-member Board in association with the Lago Vista Police Department.

 


APPLICATION PROCESS:

 

The 2025 Blue Santa application process is available online October 1, 2025, through November 7, 2025.  To begin the application process, please go to the website (www.lvbluesanta.com) and follow the instructions.  

 

Online registration is required.  Applicants must have a valid driver’s license or utility bill with their current address, and all students will be verified with their report card or current canvas screenshot.  Home-schooled children must have their curriculum verified.   Each registered recipient will receive notification via email of their acceptance and be provided a designated location and time to pick up their gifts on December 7, 2025.

 


DONATIONS:

 

The Blue Santa program relies on donations to fulfill the goal of aiding with qualified applicants.  Donations include new toys, gift cards, and/or monetary gifts (cash, check, or through PayPal) are appreciated year-round.

Should you wish to donate by check, please mail donations to:  Lago Vista Blue Santa, P.O. Box 4333, Lago Vista, TX 78645.  For your convenience, a wish list of toys may be found and purchased on Amazon.com.

New, unwrapped gifts also may be dropped off at the Lago Vista Police Department, C/O Blue Santa, 5901 Municipal Complex Way, Lago Vista, TX 78645.  

 

VOLUNTEERS:

 

Blue Santa is seeking volunteers to assist with the organization, marketing, shopping, and distribution of gifts - everything that makes this program a success.  Anyone wishing to volunteer should email lvbluesanta@gmail.com.
